Deadline for Pre-Slating: January 8th, 2021 @ 1700
The MNSA Board of Directors are elected annually in the House of Delegates at Annual Convention. Running for a leadership position in the MNSA is beneficial to not only your resume, but also your personal and professional growth. As MNSA board members, we are expected to demonstrate leadership, integrity, and professionalism while also growing and learning as leaders and student nurses. It is an opportunity to network with other students and nurses as - well as learn the values of a professional organization such as teamwork, collaboration, and leadership. As you prepare to submit an interest form for a position on the MNSA Board of Directors, please note the following:

Prior to submitting an application form, please take some time to familiarize yourself with the roles and expectations of the position you are interested in. These can be found in the most recent copy of our by-laws: click here

- An eligible candidate must be a nursing student, an "active" member of the NSNA, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Submit an application by January 8th, 2021 by 1700 to be considered as a pre-slated candidate for the 2021-2022 election.
- Elections will take place during the virtual Delegates Hall being held during the virtual annual convention on January 22-23, 2021.
- All candidates must prepare a speech (not to exceed 2 minutes) to be presented during Delegates Hall, and be prepared to answer a question from the board as well as any audience questions.
- Voting will take place following all candidate speeches in Delegates Hall.
