ANA Delivering Nurses' Agenda to Congress!

The American Nurses Association (ANA) is presenting their Nurses' Agenda to Congress today!  This a list of public health issues that are important to the nursing community, and include:

--Pass funding for a comprehensive, national effort to prevent the further spread of the Zika virus.
--Repeal language that blocks the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from engaging in research to develop meaningful, evidence-based prevention strategies critical to ending gun violence.
--Pass funding for the work outlined in the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA), to help put an end to the opioids addiction crisis
