What: Scrubs camp When: Tuesday April 07, 2015 Where: Grand Valley State University Meijer Campus in Holland (515 S. Waverly Road Holland MI 49423) Time: 10am-11:30am More on the event: The purpose of the event is to introduce the field of nursing and higher education to elementary-age children and their families. There will be a free blood pressure clinic for the parents of the children, a lesson on proper hand washing technique and a mini vitals lab.Our hope is that through this event kids will develop an interest in the nursing profession. That they will understand the importance of being a nurse and also to introduce them to the equipment that many times they see in the hospital setting or doctors office. Also, we hope that the parents will leave the event excited to have their kids go onto higher education. To see that a professional degree is possible. The event is free and open to everyone!!!
