Congrats to our own Michigan Nursing Students Association for winning TWO awards at the National Student Nurses Association 2016 Convention! MNSA won the Most Outstanding State Website award, and the criteria for winning this award was based on the ease of navigation around the website, the overall look and design, the relevance and timeliness, and the balance of content posted. The 2015-2016 Communications Director, Kush Patel, was in charge of the MNSA website, so congratulations!
The second award was the Winners Way, Group V award, which is a NSNA membership incentive contest for state constituents based on their total state membership enrollment as of February 3, 2016. Congrats to the University of Detroit Mercy for winning the 2016 NSNA Precious Metals Award! This is the NSNA school constituent award program for membership recruitment! Way to go!
Congrats to Grand Valley State University's Student Nurse Association for winning the 2016 NSNA Award for the "Most Successful Breakthrough to Nursing Project!" Their yearly project is "Girl Scouts Explore Nursing," where local Girl Scout troops come to GVSU's Health Science building where nursing classes are held. They travel to different stations around the school, which include learning to take vital signs and playing with the "live" mannequins!
The 2016 NSNA Convention is well underway in Orlando, Florida! Is your school attending this year's convention? We would love it if you shared your pictures with us, and we would be happy to post them on this site, as well as our Facebook and Instagram pages! Please email your pictures to communications@michigannsa.org Here are some pictures of our MNSA Board of Directors at convention! |
