 Hello fellow future nurses of America! I will be graduating December 2016 from Henry Ford College’s Nursing Program. I am part of the first cohort going through my program’s new concept based curriculum. I am the Membership Director of the Student Nurse Association at HFC, as well as a Peer Mentor for incoming nursing students and a student representative on the Curriculum Committee. My team of 15 nursing students and faculty from HFC’s Nursing Program will be traveling to Belize this December on a humanitarian trip to provide acute care and education in vulnerable populations. I am also enrolled in the University of Michigan-Flint’s RN-BSN program and will begin taking classes this summer. I am not sure what type of nursing path I want to take just yet, and I am ok with that. What I do know is that I want to be a part of the University of Michigan Hospital-Ann Arbor family, and be amongst the most dedicated, caring, and innovative minds in the country.
