Board of Director Elections Deadline for pre-slating: Coming Soon
Running for a leadership position in the MNSA is beneficial to both your resume as well as your personal and professional growth. As MNSA board members, we are expected to demonstrate leadership, integrity, and professionalism while also growing and learning as leaders and student nurses. It is an opportunity to network with other students and nurses as well as learn the values of a professional organization such as teamwork, collaboration, and leadership. As you prepare to submit an interest form for a position on the MNSA Board of Directors, please note the following:
Eligible candidates must be a nursing student, an "active" member of the NSNA, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
You must have the application submitted by (Date TBD) to be considered a pre-slate candidate for the 2021-2022 election.
Election will take place during Delegates Hall at the annual convention on January 22-23 at Embassy Suites in Livonia.
Candidates must prepare a speech (not to exceed 2 minutes) to be presented during Delegates Hall and be prepared to answer a question from the board and possibly audience.
Voting will take place following speeches in Delegates Hall.
